rain, rain, and more rain!

With all of this rain, it feels like we should be building an ark!

  1. Try living with a farmer and all of this rain...Gets a little bit frustrating and dishearting...
Well, we keep on praying for sunshine, and God always answers prayers, (not always the way we want...) and will always provide! Hope you are doing well and finding things to keep you and boys busy with all this rain. It was really nice to see you a fews ago! Take Care! Sharlene

  2. I'm glad to see this snail survived the "creature killer"!! : ) You make me laugh, and it's wonderful to read your blog and keep up with you this way, since I don't see you nearly enough! I didn't comment earlier, and now I'm not sure if you check old posts for comments, but I can relate to a lot of what you wrote about bringing up boys... (especially after also growing up in a family of all girls) and though I still occasionally have to ask "Is this just a boy-thing?", there's something about little boys that is just simply irrisitible! The furniture may not surivive, and all the worms in the garden may be terrorized for all time, but as you wrote, it's wonderful to see the world through their eyes, though it may be so different from our own.

I loved your post about your Andrew too! What a hoot! Hope to see you all sometime soon,
    Love,
    Holly

  3. Hi Sharlene,
I hope that the fields are drying up so your farmer husband can get in there:) Thanks for posting!

Holly, I know that you can relate about raising boys when growing up with only sisters. It is so neat that our sons are the same age too. I had to laugh about the worms being terrorized - you are so right. I will email you about getting together again.
