Jon and Adie Leedahl from New Tribe Mission gave a presentation a few weeks ago in our church. We have had the privilege of hearing them speak before they left for PNG but now their story has captured the attention of people world wide. Jon was involved in a life-threatening accident only seven months after their family had arrived in PNG. The only way to save his life was to amputate his leg, possibly taking away his ability to fly.

As a family we have prayed for Jon and Adie, but Nate has a special spot in his heart for Jon. Two years ago, knowing Nate's desire to possibly be a missionary pilot, Jon gave Nate a stuffed bear that a gentleman gave to Jon encouraging him when Jon expressed his heart's desire to serve the Lord as a missionary pilot.
